This is a New aftermarket ignition starter switch to fit Porsche 986 Boxster and 996 models up to 2003.
As can be seen from the picture, this is the electrical starter switch that fits the rear of the ignition barrel/lock. This part can often fail to cause the car not to start at all or cause problems with intermittent faults with the dash lights and the ignition lock feeling notchy or not releasing the key. Please note this part is not available separately from Porsche, if needed you have to buy the complete steering lock housing at over £250.00 !!!!
